Green Steel Group: fibers and wools
The Green Steel Group is one of the main producers of metal wools and fibers in the world: we can supply steel, stainless steel, copper, brass, bronze, zinc and aluminium wools and fibers.
Our metal fibers are successfully used by the most important brake pads producers worldwide and they are approved according the standard UNI EN IS0 9001:2000. Our metal wools can have different applications and we can also produce a wide range of household products. Besides we are able to supply steel wire for steel wool production and steel fibers for concrete.
Our production sites are located in Italy (Solana), in Poland (Green Steel Poland), in Bosnia (Green Steel Bosnia, a partnership with the company Frimeco Sarajevo). In addition to them we have a sales company in Spain (Green Steel España) and an engineering company in Italy (C.M.S.).

Steel fibers for concrete
All our fibers are produced in total absence of oil. As a result, we can guarantee an acetone extract of less than 0.03% (300 ppm). They are dry, odourless and easy to be worked. Their typical shape, their grooving and their roughness grant an excellent tightness inside the mixture. Our know-how enables us to produce fibers with different lengths and diameters.
The constant studies for the development of new technologies have led to build machines intended for the production of different metallic wools: steel, stainless steel, brass, copper, aluminium, bronze and zinc wools.
Solana and GSP have got an internal wire drawing department, which works with C.M.S.'s machines. Our equipment has been planned for the production of a particular quality of wire, purposely studied for steel wool manufacture.
The Green Steel Group has been producing and selling steel and stainless steel fibers for concrete for many years. They are successfully used as a reinforcement material due to their particulare shape.
