Solana and GSP have got an internal wire drawing department, which works with C.M.S.'s machines.

Our equipment has been planned for the production of a particular quality of wire, purposely studied for steel wool manufacture.

The wire we produce is used internally as raw material, both by Solana and Green Steel Poland, but it is also sold to many steel wool producers all around the world. Steel wire is available in different diameters.

All our fibers are produced in total absence of oil. As a result, we can guarantee an acetone extract of less than 0.03% (300 ppm). They are dry, odourless and easy to be worked. Their typical shape, their grooving and their roughness grant an excellent tightness inside the mixture. Our know-how enables us to produce fibers with different lengths and diameters.
The constant studies for the development of new technologies have led to build machines intended for the production of different metallic wools: stainless steel wools, brass, copper, aluminium, bronze, zinc and steel wools.
