All our fibers are produced in total absence of oil. As a result, we can guarantee an acetone extract of less than 0.03% (300 ppm). They are dry, odourless and easy to be worked. Their typical shape, their grooving and their roughness grant an excellent tightness inside the mixture. Our know-how enables us to produce fibers with different lengths and diameters.
Our fibers have been approved by the most important brake pad manufacturers worldwide. Our production process was approved according to the standard UNI EN ISO 9002 in 1996 and validated according to UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 in 2005 As regards copper fibers, C.M.S.'s technology has led Solana to be the first company in the world able to produce copper fibers with an extremely high output, using copper wire as raw material.
