Solana S.r.l. is the founding and main company of the group. Established in 1944 with the name "Spreafico Franco“ is now managed by the founder's heirs. It is based in Oggiono, Italy, about 50 km from Milan.
Solana is highly specialized in the production of wools and of copper, brass, bronze, zinc and aluminium fibers, in addition to our basic fibers: steel and stainless steel fibers . The fibers, approved according to the standard UNI EN ISO 9002 in 1996, were validated according to the standard UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 in 2005. They are used by the most important brake pad producers in the world.
Solana is involved in research and development activities, production and sale on European and worldwide markets, offering products which meet every customer's requirement.
